KIGALI – President Kagame on Friday toured the recently launched Network Operating Centre (NOC) at the ICT Park in Kigali. The NOC, built by Korea Telecom, is fully operational and supports the completed Kigali Metropolitan Network and the city Wireless Broadband (WIBRO).The NOC also serves as the control centre for the soon to be completed national optic fibre network that will deliver broadband services across the country including all 30 Districts. The network also links to several major border posts, allowing for connection to neighbouring countries and onward to submarine cables located on the East African coast.
