In one of the most impressive pageant productions of all times, Miss Peru, Silvia Cornejo, ended up crowned Miss Tourism Queen International 2008 in Henan,China. The 1st runner-up was the hometown girl, Miss China, Tong He; Miss Canada, Sahar Biniaz, was the 2nd runner-up; Miss Montenegro, Dasa Zivkovic, was the third runner-up; and finally, Miss Japan, Akemi Fukumura, was the 4th runner-up. Karine RUSARO UTAMULIZA (Rwanda) took the 10th spot on an international level among 113 countries (1st among Africans), she was also crowned 1st Runner-Up Miss Elegance and 1st in Africa on internet votes (Miss Internet) in the same contest. She has a large experience in beauty pageants as she has been : – Miss Campus 2007 at National University of Rwanda
